Equipment

  • 1 High-speed blender
  • 1 Sharp Kitchen Knife
  • 1 Chopping Board
  • Measuring Cups And Measuring Jug
  • Measuring Spoons
  • 1 Serving Jug
  • Six Drinking Glasses
  • 1 Spatula Or Long Spoon

Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Ripe Mango Chunks - Approximately 660 g
  • ¾ Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk - Approximately 180 ml
  • 3 Cups Chilled Whole Milk - 750 ml
  • 1 Cup Ice Cubes - Optional
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract - Optional
  • A Few Extra Mango Cubes - Optional

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare The Fresh Mangoes

  • - Wash the mangoes thoroughly under clean running water before peeling.
  • - Place each mango on a chopping board and cut the flesh away from the central stone.
  • - Dice the mango flesh into small chunks so the blender can process it easily.
  • - Measure approximately four cups of mango pieces, reserving a few small cubes for garnish if desired.
  • For the best Mango Condensed Milk Drink, use fully ripe mangoes rather than hard, unripe fruit. Ripe mangoes provide a sweeter aroma, softer texture and fuller tropical flavour.

Step 2: Add The Ingredients To The Blender

  • - Place the prepared mango chunks into the blender jug.
  • - Pour in the chilled whole milk, followed by the sweetened condensed milk.
  • - Add the vanilla extract if you want a subtle, dessert-like aroma.
  • - Secure the blender lid before switching on the appliance.
  • Start with the recommended quantity of condensed milk. You can add more later, but reducing excessive sweetness after blending is more difficult.

Step 3: Blend Until Smooth And Creamy

  • - Blend the ingredients on a medium setting for approximately 30 seconds.
  • - Increase to a high setting and continue blending for another 30–60 seconds, or until the mixture looks smooth.
  • - Stop the blender and check the texture.
  • - If large mango pieces remain, blend for another 15–20 seconds.
  • - If necessary, switch off the appliance before scraping down the sides with a spatula.
  • A good Mango Condensed Milk Drink should have a creamy, pourable consistency without large fruit pieces. Blending time depends on the ripeness of the fruit and the power of your blender.

Step 4: Taste And Adjust The Flavour

  • - Pour a small amount into a tasting glass.
  • - If the drink is too thick, add milk in small quantities and blend briefly after each addition.
  • - If it needs more sweetness, add condensed milk one tablespoon at a time.
  • - If it is already very sweet, add a little extra milk and blend again.
  • Mango varieties differ in sweetness and acidity. Adjust the ingredients gradually to create a drink that suits your taste.

Step 5: Chill The Drink

  • - For an immediately cold beverage, add a handful of ice cubes and blend briefly until incorporated.
  • - Alternatively, transfer the drink to a covered jug and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes.
  • - If the drink becomes too thick after chilling, stir in a small splash of cold milk.
  • Avoid adding too much ice if you want to maintain a rich texture, as melting ice can dilute the mango flavour.

Step 6: Pour, Garnish And Serve

  • - Pour the finished Mango Condensed Milk Drink into six clean glasses.
  • - Add a few reserved mango cubes to each glass.
  • - Garnish with a thin mango slice on the rim, if desired.
  • - Serve immediately while the drink is cold and creamy.

Notes

  • 🥛 Adjust the Sweetness: Start with less condensed milk and add more gradually to suit your taste.
  • ⚡ Blend Until Smooth: Blend thoroughly to achieve a creamy, velvety consistency without fruit lumps.
  • 🧊 Serve Chilled: Use cold milk or refrigerate the drink for 20–30 minutes before serving.

  • 🌼 Optional Flavouring: Add one teaspoon of vanilla extract for a gentle, dessert-like aroma.
  • 🥤 Adjust the Consistency: Add a little extra milk if the drink is too thick, or reduce the milk for a richer texture.
  • 🍹 Garnish Before Serving: Top with a few diced mango pieces for an attractive presentation.
  • ❄️ Storage: Refrigerate in a clean, airtight container and consume within 24 hours for the best quality.
  • ⚠️ Dairy Safety: Refrigerate promptly and avoid leaving the drink at room temperature for more than two hours.
